EASTER SUNDAY 1961 ~ Ozion Freewill Baptist Church

THIS I BELIEVE
Whether made from sticks or stones, houses of worship have long been a part of how we (and our families) understand and perceive faith.  Church buildings are representations where we are strengthened by preaching and sacrament.  However, when we go out the church door into the world - I believe that is the real church.  That is when our "Hearts and Minds" connect and we live out our faith. It's not the building.  It's not the location.
THIS I BELIEVE...

I love this picture - many of my cousins are in it!
We were all dressed up and ready for the 'Egg Hunt'.
Where am I?  Second Row - third from the right!
